Five Star Executive Car provides private car service for you, your family and clients. When you contract with us for a private executive chauffeur, you will receive premium, personal customer service. You will be able to commute to your office and meetings worry free! Stay productive while your professional driver takes you to appointments, social occasions, golf club or shuttling your staff and family.
Our executive car services are currently offered in Boston, New York, Washington DC and San Francisco.
A personal chauffeur or executive driver can provide you with transportation services in your private car or limo. Personal drivers can also be responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of your vehicle.
Our drivers are available on a contract basis, and you set the schedule with your driver. Our minimum contract is 1,000 hours per year. This is an average of 20 hour per week. This allows us to keep a dedicated driver engaged and ready for you as requested. You can use your driver for as many hours each week as needed. If you would like to use your personal driver on a long trip or overnight, you would be responsible for lodging and meals.

We screen, train and certify our drivers using independent services for criminal background, DMV records and drug testing. All our personal drivers are W-2 employees and not sub-contractors. We handle the HR processes which alleviates your companies need to be involved in hiring, discipline and termination. We cover payroll taxes, health benefits, and paid vacation and holidays. Our executive chauffeurs are insured with Worker's Compensation and General Liability Insurance. Automobile primary insurance would be covered by you, as it is your personal vehicle, and the driver would need to be added to your policy. Five Star Executive car is secondary automobile liability.

How does insurance work?
A: Five Star Executive Car provides primary workers compensation and general liability. The hired driver is an authorized driver on client's insurance. The client is responsible for primary automobile insurance.
How does billing work?
A: Five Star Executive car invoices monthly. Payment due 15 days after invoice is submitted to the client.
Is this service similar to a ride-hailing service like Uber or Lyft?
A: Five Star Executive Car offers a personal driver who drivers you in your car on a contract basis. We do do not offer 1 off rides or short-term service.
